The time-honored tradition of amazing and wonderful suckers and lollipops begins Tuesday, March 3!Starting tomorrow, you can grab your favorite sweet treats in the mornings from 7:20 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.These delicious goodies will be sold by your favorite OMS Honor Choir members, so come out and support them while stocking up on all your favorite flavors! Bring your cash.

•  OMS HONOR CHOIR CELEBRATES A WEEKEND OF EXCELLENCE! The OMS Honor Choir had an outstanding showing this past weekend at the Central Methodist University Music Festival in Fayette, Missouri. The choir earned three Exemplary Ratings—the highest ratings awarded—for their performance on Friday afternoon.In addition to the ensemble’s achievement, nearly all of our soloists received Exemplary marks, reflecting their individual preparation, confidence, and musical growth.On Saturday, 10 of our 6th Grade Honor Choir members represented OMS at the West Central MMEA District Choir at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. We are especially proud of Abby Brisbin, who was selected as a featured soloist for the afternoon concert—an incredible honor among many talented singers from across the region.Your OMS Honor Choir made a tremendous showing this weekend. We are extremely proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence in choral music. Bravo, Bulldogs! 

• The mystery has been solved! We’ve finally pieced together the clues, and the shredded book was none other than "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever" by Jeff Kinney.
  A huge congratulations to our eagle-eyed winners who guessed correctly and had their entry drawn from the plethora of correct answers:

  Immediately following the pledge, please head down to the library to see Mrs. Lefman.
  You get to pick your prize! Let her know which Wimpy Kid book you’d like to add to your personal collection, or choose any other book valued at $10 or less.

• 8th graders if you have your I-CAP please turn into Mrs. Guyett

• If you are a 6th or 7th grader and are interested in being a part of our robotics team this spring, please see Mrs. Begemann or Mrs. Bird to get a permission slip!  The robotics team needs to add a few more to the team and want to get started ASAP!  

• REMINDER---- 8th graders who qualify for the 8th grade field trip on March 13th, permission slips are due back by March 6th!

• If you are a seventh or eighth grader interested in participating in track and field, please fill out the Google form sign-up posted in your social studies Google Classroom. The first day of practice is TODAY Monday, March 2nd, and practices are every day after school until 4:45 PM. See Coach Smith or Mr. Shields if you have any questions. 

• The food pantry in Mrs. Groves room is still up and running, so if anyone needs a little extra to take home, you can stop by here room after school.
