OHS Student Invited to Coterie's Young Playwright Roundtable

After attending "Reaching the Write Minds" workshop, hosted by OHS on March 16, 2016, both Ellie Port and Hannahmaye Doster had the honor of being invited to interview for the Coterie Theatre's Young Playwright's Roundtable based on the strength of their writing skills. Ellie was then accepted to The Coterie's Young Playwright Roundtable, an invitation-only bimonthly workshop that gives students the opportunity to improve their writing and even to have their work produced by professional actors. Being a part of the Young Playwrights' Roundtable is a great accomplishment.  

Some of the plays developed from the Roundtable will receive a production or a staged reading on The Coterie's mainstage.  Professional directors will assist the playwrights as their work is taken from the page to the stage.  These works will be presented in the spring of 2017.

Students chosen as members of the Roundtable may remain members until they graduate from high school.
