Today is an "A" day.

Student Council will be selling Smencils before school.  Each Smencil will cost $1.00.

This Friday, OMS Student Council will sponsor its 7th annual Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Halloween costume day.  For a $1.00 donation, students can wear their costumes to  school.  No masks, weapons, blood or gore.  Listen for announcements to learn more about UNICEF.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Patriot's Pen essay competition is underway.  Students in grades 6 through 8 compete by writing an essay on a patriotic theme.  This year's theme and title is "Why I Appreciate America's Veterans".  Stop by the office to pick up your entry form. Entries must be submitted by November 1st.

2014-2015 OMS Yearbook advance orders are now being accepted before and after school in computer lab 108.  Hard cover books are $20 (available by advance order only).  Soft cover books are $15.  Order forms are available from Mrs. Lefman or in the holder outside of the office.  Make checks payable to Odessa Middle School.

Red Ribbon Week is this week, October 27th - 31st.
