Odessa Upper Elementary Clubs

Odessa Upper Elementary has several clubs for your children to choose from. We believe in offering high quality experiences in an safe after school setting. All clubs start after bus dismissal and end at 3:45. Parents are expected to pick up promptly at 3:45. Please check out the following club links for more information.

OUE Spinners

Who: 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students

What: A club that will build self-confidence, self discipline, work ethic, and eye-hand coordination while learning ball handling tricks.

When: Monday afternoons in October, November, and December
2:45 – 3:45

Where: OUE gym

Cost: $20 (pays for t-shirt and basketball)

STUCO

The mission of O.U.E. Student Council is to promote activities of the school, improve relationships between faculty and students, and develop attitudes of and practice good citizenship.  This organization consists of four officers elected from offficers elected from last year's FOURTH grade class, one representative who is elected from his or her class.  STUCO officers and representatives are expected to attend each meeting, be good role models to the student body, and provide a forum for student expression.  STUCO participates in many activities including riding on a float in the OHS Homecoming parade, introducing speakers at assemblies, participating in community service, and sponsoring school-wide after-school activities.
