Congratulations to the OHS Varsity Cheerleaders on their 3rd place finish at the MCCA KC Regionals yesterday. They will be advancing to State the weekend of Nov 16&17 at Lindenwood University in St. Louis. Way to go girls!

Attention Seniors: Send baby pictures (up to 2) to OHS Journalism room #5 by the end of October to be included in the yearbook baby collage. Pictures need to be color prints and won't be returned.
Attention Seniors: Teams for Donkey Basketball will be drawn at the end of the day. If you want to play come by the office to sing up if you haven't already.
Are you ready to watch some DONKEY BASKETBALL?? Get your tickets for Wednesday, November 6th at 7:30 in the high school gym to support project grad 2020. Ticket order forms are in the office.Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
Do you like soap? Do you like skulls? Wanna learn how to carve a Day of the Dead skull out of soap? Come learn at the Spanish Club meeting after school on Wednesday, October 23 in Mrs. Drinkwater’s room # 27. We will begin at 3:15. Sign-ups for this activity are in Mrs. Drinkwater’s room, # 27. You must be in Spanish club and you must sign up to be able to participate in this activity.
Parents should call the Attendance Office first thing in the morning for their student's absence that day. Students who will be checking out during the school day and have a note from parent can get a pink check out pass from the Attendance Office before school.
Students must be present the entire day to participate in sports or field trips. Field trips are NOT considered absences. College visits must be pre-arranged in the Attendance Office.
Students arriving late to school will be given a tardy pass even if a parent calls or writes a note. Only exception would be if a doctor or dentist note is provided at time of arrival and a pass to class will be given.
