Broadcasting as a course is designed to explore the industry of Broadcast Media. Students learn the basics of broadcast production, including writing, producing and computer editing of a broadcast. Students receive training in videography, cinematography, and editing techniques that all aid in creating weekly content for the high school students/staff entertainment. 

The information learned in the broadcasting course has enabled students to produce "The Red & Black Broadcast".  These videos feature students and staff and are created and edited by students.  Odessa R7 is proud of this production and the students in front of behind the camera.
