McQuerry Student Receives Top Honor At Senate Art Exhibit

1st Grader Carter Ballance takes top honor at The Senate Art Exhibit housed in Jefferson City at the Capital Building.  There are 34 senate districts in the state of MO.  Our school district along with 60+ other districts are in Senate District 21.  Carter's artwork was selected by Senator Denny Hoskin  from 100's submitted.  The works are not divided by grade level, the competition is open to all MO student's K-12.  His work will be on display for a year in the Capital Building.
