OHS Student Organizes Missouri DECA Legislators' Breakfast
Cooper Stiles, Missouri DECA Vice President of Advocacy, organized and executed the Missouri DECA Legislators' Breakfast in Jefferson City on January 23rd. All members of the House and Senate were invited to meet with members of the Missouri DECA State Officer Team to discuss the importance of DECA and Career and Technical Education. Legislators were asked to join the State Advisory Board, a nonpartisan group of lawmakers who support DECA. The State Advisory Board was established by Cooper as a part of his advocacy initiatives to formalize relations between government and DECA. The board currently has 33 members.
