The Odessa High School FBLA annually sponsors a 5k Run/Walk during Odessa Puddle Jumper Days as a community service event. A free Pee Wee Race for children 8 and under immediately follows the 5k. Proceeds from the race help to fund student-driven charity events, educational trips, and district, state and national level . . .

The Major Saver check presentation to the Odessa R-VII Foundation was made to Mr. Robert Brinkley, Superintendent, on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the Odessa R-VII Central Office. The Major Saver campaign was held from April 19 th through May 2 nd , at McQuerry Elementary, Odessa Upper Elementary and Odessa Middle School. A total of $9,877.50 was raised for the Odessa R-VII Foundation. In addition, Major Saver contributed a $500.00 check to the Odessa R-VII Foundation. The Odessa R-VII School District . . .
A check was presented to the Odessa R-VII School District from the Masonic Home of Missouri "Creating-A-Partnership Grant" in the amount of $500, with $250 provided by the Mount Hope Lodge, Odessa, Missouri. The grant funds will be utilized for back-to-school student supplies at McQuerry Elementary and Odessa Upper Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year. This is the third (continuous) year the Odessa R-VII School District has received the grant funds from the Masonic Home of Missouri and Mount Hope Lodge #476.
