There will be a Reader's Theatre meeting in Mr. Bush's rm today during BB. See Mr. Bush if you will not be able to attend.
Sophomores and Juniors: If you are interested in attending Summit Tech Academy as a Junior or Senior, we will be taking a field trip to tour and learn more about their programs on January 30th. Permission slips are in the counseling office. Please return to the counseling office by January 24th. For more information, please talk with the counselors.
Spanish Club will meet Tuesday Jan. 21st after school until 4:00 in Mrs. Drinkwater's room. We will be eating candy from Mexico and drinking Mexican Hot Chocolate. Please sign up in Mrs. Drinkwater's room # 27.
If you are planning on bringing a guest from another school to the dance, you must have dance form turned in to the office by Friday. Forms are located outside the office.
Courtmat is Friday, January 24th. You need to buy a t-shirt in advance. Your t-shirt is your ticket. The cost is $10 and includes admission to the basketball games and black light dance that night. Guest forms are available in the office and are due by Friday, Jan. 17th. T-shirts will be on sale in the library starting Wednesday. First come first serve for sizes.You must have 90% attendance (by hours-not days) to purchase your shirt/entry into Court Mat.
Parents should call the Attendance Office first thing in the morning for their student's absence that day. Students who will be checking out during the school day and have a note from parent can get a pink check out pass from the Attendance Office before school.
Students must be present the entire day to participate in sports or field trips. Field trips are NOT considered absences. College visits must be pre-arranged in the Attendance Office.
Students arriving late to school will be given a tardy pass even if a parent calls or writes a note. Only exception would be if a doctor or dentist note is provided at time of arrival and a pass to class will be given.
