REMINDER: You must have 90% attendance when the semester ends in December in order to earn your credit for first semester. Now is the time to make sure you are where you should be and make adjustments if you need to. The state goes by hours, not days...so make sure you are looking at the correct number. If you have a question, please see Mrs. Drenon.
Parents should call the Attendance Office first thing in the morning for their student's absence that day. Students who will be checking out during the school day and have a note from parent can get a pink check out pass from the Attendance Office before school.
Students must be present the entire day to participate in sports or field trips. Field trips are NOT considered absences. College visits must be pre-arranged in the Attendance Office.
Students arriving late to school will be given a tardy pass even if a parent calls or writes a note. Only exception would be if a doctor or dentist note is provided at time of arrival and a pass to class will be given.
