Safety Concern Memorandum
Odessa R-VII School District Students, Parents, Employees and Patrons
It has been brought to our attention that on Monday, February 12, 2018, at approximately 5:00 p.m., two suspects in a silver vehicle attempted to get a 16 year old student into their vehicle while he was walking alone in the area of Sixth and Main Streets. The description given of one of the suspects in the silver vehicle was that of a white male in their 20’s, thin light brown goatee and a mustache, a blue ball cap with no lettering, and a black Nike hoodie. The license was a Missouri plate with the first letter “N,” but no other information is available at this time. We ask that parents be aware of potential hazards and be extra cautious. Law enforcement is investigating the situation and will pass along information to the public and the school district as it becomes available.
