Odessa Students Place at National History Day Competition
Two Odessa TARGET students competed at the state level of the National History Day competition at the University of Missouri-Columbia on Saturday, April 30th. Eighth grader, Reese Wood, took first place in the Junior Individual Exhibit category with his exhibit, Alan Turing: Father of the Modern Computer. Junior, Hannah Scott, took second place in the Senior Individual Exhibit category with her exhibit, A City Under Siege: Delivering Hope One Flight at a Time on the Airbridge to Berlin. Both students advance to national competition June 12-16, at the University of Maryland-College Park.
